Why We Built This Site
Public access is easier when the court and custodian are known. In McMullen County, the combined County/District Clerk routes county and district files, the Justice Court clerk handles traffic and Class C matters, and court staff confirm settings. County Court also publishes date-specific docket files. Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12 governs judicial-record access, while the ordinary Texas Public Information Act route does not apply to court records in the same way. The site brings these distinctions, official contacts, and search steps into one reference.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket pages: how McMullen County criminal and civil docket records are located and read
- Dates and settings: ways to check the County Court schedule and confirm a hearing
- Case lookup routes: county postings, direct clerk contact, and re:SearchTX when coverage permits
- Copy requests: steps for asking the proper clerk for plain or certified court records
What We Cannot Do
As a privately operated reference site, we are not connected with a Texas court, clerk, or government agency. These limits apply:
- We do not retrieve official docket sheets or case files
- We cannot set, reset, or confirm a hearing date
- We cannot amend, seal, or remove a court entry
- We do not certify copies of orders or filed documents
- We cannot offer legal advice about a particular matter
- We cannot warrant that a fee, contact, or setting remains current
An official or certified record must come from the clerk or the court that maintains the original case file.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. Each provider controls its service, prices, results, and policies. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports site operations. We do not set a partner's charges or decide which records it returns.
